My iPad 2 is at iOS 4.3.3 I want to upgrade to 5.1.1 and not 6 so I can jailbreak. Please help
You can't.Only if you have SHSH file for 5.1.1 can update and jailbreak.

Great but will this work even if I'm not downgrading, only upgrading from 4.3.3?
yes it should work, but just to be sure, you have your blobs/SHSH/hashes saved for 5.1.1 and 4.3.3.

I'm sorry I'm just a casual user I don't really understand what blobs are, all I have is red snow and the two IPSW files for 4.3.3 and 5.1.1. Will I be able to do it if I follow the link?

Download TinyUmbrella, hook up your phone, go to AdvancedTab, check get SHSH from Cydia, back to front page click save.
Hopefully you have some hashes saved.
