First of all, I apologize for asking this question.

I've been searching on the forum about this $35 activation fee for the longest but I keep getting results from March 10-12th. Being that it's June I want a legit answer about an activation fee or reactivation fee.

Basically I keep encountering people saying that you will be waived $35 activation fee the first time. So what's the deal?

This is what I plan to do, for instance in July I know I will be out a lot so I want to be able to activate 3G for that month and cancel it for the next 2-3 months, will I get charge an activation fee whatsoever?

Btw, I do plan on the doing the "pre-paid" plan.

Thanks.

What did your carrier of choice say when you called and asked?

I just got the Verizon iPad 2. No activation fee to use it. Ever. Just have to pay the month you use it.
