About a month in to using the iPad 2 w/ 3G, I noticed there were problems with recording using the built-in mic. I read a couple of forum posts on the Apple support page and it seems that that hole builds up with dust and then needs to be blown out or vacuumed out. Others seems to have received an immediate exchange with their local Apple Store. It seems like this problem is only to the 3G models and not the wifi models.
Has anyone else experienced this? Did you decide to just vac the port out every once in a while or do an exchange and the problem was solved?
