iPad 2 won't activate on iOS 8 GM

I went to restore and was going to update to the GM. Went through whole process and when iPad came back up it would fail to activate. Now says beta expired and tells me to update to a newer version, but I can't because it won't activate.

Where'd I go wrong and how can I get it fixed?
