Ipad 2017 and IOS 11?

has anyone installed iOS 11 on the iPad 2017? (the one introduced in March) ? Want to buy a cheap iPad but i really liked the iOS 11 features! Is it running decently (animations, drag and drop etc)?

Air 2 runs fine so it'll be even smoother on yours.

Haven't bought it yet...still undecided between the iPad 2017 and the new 10.5
