iPad 3 Apple Store Return/Exchange ???

im getting the 16GB 4G LTE Verizon Model today, and I also pre-ordered a 32GB Wifi model which I will be picking up at FedEx later today! Can I return my Pre-Order to an Apple Retail Store ??? or do I have to do the online process? I mean its the same thing, its just the store is more convenient!!!

I use a different approach. First I decide exactly what I want & the configuration that suits my use. Then after the purchase I'm free of buyers remorse or a need to return it.
