Have tried everything I can think of, downloaded the correct 8.1.2 ipsw and installed via dfu.
The ipad will restore but will not activate either via wifi or itunes and reboots as I said in the title.
In the iTunes window the ipad is briefly recognised but very quickly the serial number comes up as n/a and there are no details viewable about the device.
Am going crazy here, is there anyone with any suggestions that might help me ?
