Ipad 3 hotspot

Hi,

I am on three in the UK and can use my mbp on the ipad's personal hotspot by usb only.

The mac cannot see the ipad in airport.

I have bluetooth paired the ipad & mbp fine but again cannot use the ipads data when connected by bluetooth.

Tried all the permutations for ipad wifi off and on. restarted the device etc.

I guess usb connection is ok but would like to solve problem.

<edit>Swtched hotspot off and on and asked if I wanted to use bluetooth and wifi.

Seems to work.</edit>
