I have a 3rd gen iPad, 16GB wifi, on iOS 7.0.6. Is there a way for me to jailbreak? I've been trying for quite a while today, with no success, on evasion7.

I updated to this OTA, not using iTunes, so that could pose a problem. When I try to restore/backup, it tries to update me to iOS 7.1. Supposedly, 7.1 means no jailbreaking...

Does that mean that I can't jailbreak at all now?

Do you have a passcode on?

Nope.

Because the jailbreak often doesn't work on iPads that were updated OTA.

To the OP: I don't know any way to jailbreak your iPad, but you should check with the hacks and jailbreak subforum under the iOS forum.

If you tried evasi0n and it fails to complete, there is nothing else you can do.
