Hello,

my problem is the following: For the last few weeks, my iPad 3 AT&T model does not accept the credentials of my main Apple ID any more. This ID is signed into iCloud just fine and if I use my secondary Apple ID, it works without a problem. But as soon as I want to sign my main ID in, it just fails with the message:

"Verification Failed
Your Apple ID or password is incorrect.
Cancel Try Again"

But I can try again as much as I want there is no success. Neither when using the dialogue box that appeared after I restored the iPad over iTunes minutes ago nor the sign in option in the App Store app or in the Settings app. But on all of my other devices (iPhone 6 on 9.2, iPhone 5 on 9.2, Apple TV 4 on 9.1, Apple TV 3 on 7.2, Mac mini on 10.11.2, MacBook Pro on 10.10.5, iTunes on my Windows Bootcamp partition, i-services in several Web-Browsers) it has worked and still does on previous software versions and now on the most recent ones. On the iPad though, which is already on iOS 9.2 and has seen several both OTA and iTunes updates since the problem appeared around summer, the iTunes Store insists that the password is wrong. I can't even update the Apps associated to this ID nor can I use Apple Music or purchase new Apps with the ID. I always have to install them with iTunes/Xcode on my Mac which cannot be more cumbersome.

As mentioned before, I just did a complete restore with iTunes and the first thing the iPad wanted from me was the ID password and it responded with the usual dialogue box (But Activation Lock and iCloud accepted it just fine). I already searched on *insert name of search engine here* but there were no real results, i.e. nothing helped or did not seem related.

I hope you can help me solve this annoying issue
