iPad 3 screen smudges easily

The screen im my opinion is practically the same as the iPad 2 in terms of finger smudging not the resolution. The 2nd generation smart covers from apple are so much better and my actually does clean mine. As for while your using it wash your hands but it's still gonna smudge. If you get a screen protector you are like voiding the retina display. Use just a soft cloth to clean your screen no chemicals like glass cleaner you will wipe the coating of the screen and surprisingly you will get more finger prints.
The iPad is a hands on device, at the end of the day (it's night) it's gonna smudge..

The glass and oleophobic coating is the same as on the iPad 2.
I have a Power Support Crystal film on my iPad for peace of mind (ie scratches). I give it an occasional swipe with a slightly moistened lint-free cloth to keep the screen smudge-free.
