I have an iPad3 (gsm) Seen video on youtube of a guy buying a straight talk micro sim, dropping the sim into the ipad and getting umlimted accesess for $40 a month.. Anyone here tried this?

I dont know but i just checked out there website and it looks legit but 40 dollars is still a lot if u have a cell phone bill already

A buddy of mine lives in WA and he switched his family from VZW to Straight Talk. He told me he's using a Nexus phone and an AT&T sim card. ST uses AT&T and I forget the other carrier.

So yeah I can see it working.

Yeah, but you aren't locked into a contract.

you aren't required to have a contract with iPads as they are already off-contract. Straight talk isn't really unlimited either. They will boot you off at around 2gbs.

You need to change the APN in order to access the internet using straight talk
