iPad iPad 3 stuck on apple logo

So, I just tried to jailbreak my ipad 3 on ios 7 with eVasi0n. Now it's stuck on the apple logo. I've tried putting it into DFU mode but every time I plug it into my Mac it starts booting without me doing anything. Is there anyway to fix this? Can I put it into DFU mode even if it's booting?

I finally figured out how to get it working and restore. I got the latest version of evasi0n and I can now jailbreak successfully, but after it's jail broken when I restore my backup Cydia disappears. Is that common?
