Just curious if those who have gone from the iPad 3 to newer models have noticed enhanced cellular performance. Reception is very hit and miss on the 3 at a friends place out in the country, who unfortunatly is stuck with very slow DSL. Would be great if a newer model could provide better reception. From what I have heard RF performance isn't always Apple's strong suit, but here's to hoping.

I've noticed a significant increase in cellular performance. I use T-Mobile and the IPP 9.7 is the only iPad that supports the 700Mhz LTE Band 12. Also, I was in a room with where I had cell signal on my IPP 9.7 and nothing on my 6S+ which also supports Band 12.

That's good to hear. I will be on at&t with it so I imagine most bands are there for the 3. But like I said any improvement will be great to see to have useful data speeds out there.
