iPad 3 - Video record more than 50 minutes

Out of the box the iPad 3 will record a 1080p video for about 50 minutes (actually about a file size of 4GB).

Is there an iPad application out there that can keep recording video longer than 50 minutes (perhaps by automatically starting a new file when the first one reaches the maximum size)?

This limitation still exists? I've read about it when the iPhone 4 first came out, but never had it happen to me on my 4S. I've recorded two hours of non-stop 1080p video with it with a resulting file size of about 20GB.
