Did they just swapped the processor for this one. or is it actually thinner?
 
Not even with the thunderlightiningshock port? dang.

lightning port is a pretty small piece in this thing. they'd have to shrink the battery to really get it smaller at this point. i'm ok with that, cuz i was able to order an ipad 3 case for this thing rather than have to wait for new ones to come out.
 
The next iPad will have a total redesign to update it to the same look as the iphone 5.


So the iPad 5 will benefit from everything apple learned doing the iPhone 5 and the mini.


It will be thinner, lighter and the boarders around the screen will shrink.

I agree with this. I doubt the bezel will change, but I do think they will draw a lot from their iPhone 5/iPad mini techniques. The most visible changes will be the annodized "slate" for black and that diamond-cut bezel thing on the edges.
