Never heard of this rumour before but with talk the Iphone 5 won't be a glass back will Apple make Ipad 3 a glass back..or is this the future design?

iPad 3 back will most likely not be glass. Think of how much easier they would break than an iPhone 4/4s. Plus several other rumors posted on MacRumors show that the back will be the same aluminum shell. It's nice to dream though

Yeah, I really like this concept aestetically, but realistically its gonna scratch like crazy..

No. It would be heavy and would shatter way too easily.

i love it but wouldnt be practical to use everyday. it's gonna be heavier than the current ipad and im afraid it will scratch or even shatter easily.

nice design to look at though.

I love the aesthetics but...
-it would be heavier
-it would scratch
-not as durable
-could crack
-probably would make it thicker


Then again, it would not be the first time Apple chose form over function.
