ipad 3G data sim card in USA

Hi,
I am travelling to USA at the end of this month , and having with me my iPad 2 3G unlocked.
I need to buy a prepaid data card for it, is it easy although i don't have an american credit card.
Could any one help me please to find out what is the easiest and cheapest way.

Why can't you just buy it with cash? And if you need a credit card, you can buy a reloadable one or a visa gift card and use it like a credit card.

You can buy one at any ATT store (company owned, franchise is YMMV). They are usually $15. Buy a prepaid Visa card at any drug or grocery store ($5 plus amount of card. These are non-refillable so buy what you need). Then activate your SIM and 3G acct. Where it asks for your address just put in your hotel or any other address. Since it's a prepaid acct there is nothing ATT can match it against. Same goes for Ph#.
