iPad 3rd Gen 4G - Location based reminders

Hi

On the slide of "200 new features" in iOS shown behind Scott Forstall, it showed Location-baed reminders for iPad.

1) Has anyone been able to set a Location-based reminder on a 3rd Gen iPad 4G? I don't have the option available

2) Using Find My Friends "Notify" doesn't actually notify on the iPad... works fine on the iPhone but not on the iPad.
