So I was using my iPad as normal, played a racing game.... closed it, locked the iPad came back to it 20 minutes later and it was doing this....

I held down the power button and home button and did a soft reset on it and its fixed it... but any ideas on what its doing and what I should do? Only had it about 2 months..

If the game you were playing was CSR Racing then it is the game that caused the screen to go nuts. There is nothing wrong with your iPad.

Its a bug with the game, as far as I can make out it is caused by the push notifications when they rotate the info in at the top of the screen.

If its not CSR Racing there may be an issue with the iPad but more than likely its something the app is doing.
