Anyone own any? Just looking at the so-called 'Smart Covers', which you can get for about £8 off the bay.

Here's a decent knock-off keyboard case for the iPad.

If you're looking to physically protect your iPad 2, I'd look into getting a SmartCover from Apple, and only Apple. This is because knock offs have been having problems with the magnetic placements. (Might have changed) $40 is a lot for a cover but Amazon has them for $26. Since the iPad 2 smart cover doesn't cover the back, I also have a protective companion case, which combined with a SmartCover, makes an iPad 2 fully protected.

This is my current set up:
