Hi,

recently I noticed that my iPad screen popped out, people said that It could be because of bad battery status, and I ran diagnosis, using ibackupBot. The following is what the application shows me:
Battery

CycleCount: 534
DesignCapacity: 11560
FullChargeCapacity: 3600

Status: Success
BatteryCurrentCapacity: 69
BatteryIsCharging: true
ExternalChargeCapable: true
ExternalConnected: true
FullyCharged: false
GasGaugeCapability: true

I suspect that battery swallows and pushes the screen out.
At this point, should I replace battery paying $100(AUD) or wait until iPad air 3 or iPad pro are released?

also, could there be any chance of battery explosion?

For battery explosion, I recommend you use equipment to test its temperature when working.

For iPad itself, I also suggest you wait until September. There should be something great in that one.

If you worry about anything, you may try to bring it to any Apple Store near you to do a test.

Try to visit a technician because you should not risk to be harmed or be there when the battery explode, the technician will tell you wether to keep that ipad or buy another one.
