All iPads iPad 4 home button slow response.

I have to click multiple times for it to respond. Anyone else have this problem? Any suggestions short of having to take it back to fix it?

No problems here on my 4th gen. Goes home when I need it to. Granted I don't really use the home button at all having gestures enabled.

Try turning siri off. If that doesn't help, it's probably a hardware issue.

Thanks. I had the same problem with the iPhone 5. Ugh. I'm pretty ticked because other than the bad home button everything else is fine.

My iPad 4 home button is rather spotty also. Works fine about half the time. The other half, it takes anywhere from 2-5 clicks to get it to function. And then, sometimes it registers as a "double tap" and my open app list comes up instead. Pretty annoying really. I have resorted to just doing the "five finger pinch" for getting back to the home screen.

I have the same problem on my 4S after upgrading to iOS6. Takes maybe two seconds some times after hitting the home button to take action. Haven't tried restoring or anything.

EDIT: I also have the double tap bug.
