Since updating my iPad to iOS 7, I've had problems with home screen orientation. When I turn the iPad, the home screen no longer turns to the correct orientation. All the other apps are fine with orientation. The orientation lock is off also. I suspect it might be an issue with the parallax effect in iOS 7. Does anyone else have the same problems?

I don't have the same problem on my iPad 2 -- did you do a fresh install or upgrade?

Also, try going to Settings > General > Accessibility > Reduce Motion, and turn it ON. That will disable the parallax, and hence may fix your issue.

Same problem here with my mini. It seems to happen specifically after exiting portrait-oriented games. I suspect it’s the parallax effect causing the issue too but I haven’t tested without it yet. I really don’t want to have to do that in order to “fix” it.

It’s kind of a big deal as far as bugs go as there doesn’t seem to be any way to get rotation to work properly again besides rebooting.
