Preparing for shipment here also, excited this is my 1st ipad. I'm usually a mac guy.
Does anyone know what shipping method apple uses? I noticed at checkout it said signature required for package.

Mine is preparing for shipment too in the UK. My iPhone didn't come by UPS. It was some white van man I think.
Everytime, I ordered online it was FED EX shipped. Signature is required unless you call Fed EX and they will tell u what form to sign to opt out of signing.
Hm. I preordered yesterday morning at around 10 am PDT and this morning my iPad is still processing the order. My smartcover already shipped and will arrive on Halloween. My delivery date for the iPad still says November 2, do you think I will still get it by then?
If that's what it's saying on the website, I'd assume you'll still get it on the 2nd.
Still nothing in Holland.. Didn't Germany have the immediately 2 week waiting time as well? Lucky you!
mine is also preparing for shipment. I ordered a 32 gig wifi white at 1201am. i live in Los Angeles.
Looking good now. Literally an hour after I posted this, my status now says preparing for shipment!
