iPad 4 shows black wallpaper for a second

Hi,

In the last few days I've noticed a strange behaviour on my iPad 4: when I open the case (which has a magnet), the screen turns on and is black for a fraction of a second, and then it shows the image properly. Turning the iPad off and back on didn't help.

I'm running iOS 7.1.1 on an iPad 4 16GB WiFi.
