I wonder if Apple will give Educational pricing ($50 off) the new iPads. Any news on if they will?

They offered it on the iPad's on their site a couple days ago.

iPads have never had education discount as far as I'm aware.

There was a $50 gift card promotion for Back To School, but that's not quite the same as cash, since iTunes Gift Cards have been highly devalued since the algorithm was cracked not too long ago.

Here in the UK we've had an educational discount on iPads for a while now. Usually about £15 off, give it take £ on models

Are you in the UK or USA, in the uk the new Ipad has about £13.40 off, however Apple care warrenty upgrade is only £67.40 for two years and £94.80 for three years (Under the agreement certain IT equipment used and bought for education has to have 3 years warrenty).

The ipad Mini has no discount.
