iPad 4 very slow on wifi

Any suggestions why my ipad4 is running so slow when on the internet? Apart from restoring it back to factory settings, I cannot find why. I thought iPads were not supposed to be slow like this.

Would changing my DNS for USA netflix make my ipad slower on the net?

Any help is appreciated.

1) Turn off your wifi router for 1 min

2) Turn it back on

3) Retry to see if speed comes back

4) Reset "all network settings" on your iPad.
