iPad iPad 4th gen, good deal?

I can get a brand new sealed 16gb wifi iPad 4 for $400. Is this a "meh" deal, or a really good one? I don't have a lot of spare money. Thanks in advance!

If you can wait one more week, and save up 99 more dollars, wait and get the air. IMO its a OK deal though, they are currently going on ebay for around that price.

Sort of. The air is $20 more than the $500 here in canada and then tax here is about $60 on $520. So total price would be $580.

honestly i'd rather spend 100$ more to get the newest model. try to get it on amazon/ebay or someplace where you don't have to pay tax

Problem is, I am a university student and I have $389.75 right now. I couldn't pull $180 or even just $100 out of thin air no matter how hard I wanted too.
Even a retina mini is $452.
