iPad iPad 4th gen - stereo speakers?

No its mono only mini has stereo.

How is the speaker anyway? I've heard mixed reviews, but most people say it's pretty good. How is it compared to say, the iPhone 4?

The speaker on the iPad4 is the same as the iPad 3- loud- but Mono. The Mini speakers are stereo, not a loud as the iPad 4, but much clearer sound..

Does the ipad 4 have improved speaker quality? I was reading some ipad 4 impression thread and some users mentioned about the ipad 4's speaker quality being better than the ipad 3.
