iPad iPad (5) 2013 what to expect and when???

Are we still expecting a new iPad in March/April?
Or will Apple wait until July or even Oct next year!?!?

And what are the improvements we will be looking at?

1. Thinner
2. Lighter
3. Better battery
4. A6x
5. More ram
6. better camera
7. Stereo speakers
8. New lamination process as on the new iMac (75percent less glare)

Did I miss anything major?

I have an ipad 2 and while it's fine, compared to the new machine, I'm sure there is a big difference. But if they are going to update again in March I'd be better off waiting. BUT who knows what Apple is going to do...

Personally, if next year's model were to include #2, 7, and 8. Then waiting is definitely the way to go for me.

1,2,4,7 are very likely.
3 not, I'd expect the same duration of the current models. (We don't care about the battery itself, but about the duration of it)
Doubt they'll change the RAM, like the camera. But as prices decrease, we might see a 8 MPX camera.
Stereo speakers is something I would expect too.
What about different physical buttons?
It'll surely get some new features exclusive of iOS 7, so all the other changes would be in the software department.

Hard to say. Apple still needs something new to sell in the spring if they have indeed reset the iPad launch. I can't see them pushing out 2 iPads per year now, but maybe. I think we are in uncharted waters right now.

I agree. Really, unsure what's going to happen. I may have to use my ipad 2 for another year. I don't use it to surf the web now because it's too slow in my opinion. I should go and check up the new one and see how much I'm missing out.
