Some of us have big hands and I'm already having trouble gripping the iPad 5 on its edges with one hand. Apparently the iPad 5 is going to have the same screen size but smaller form factor which means an even smaller grip.

You can do this on the iPad mini cause that ish is lightweight.

Failing to see how this is an "issue" since it gets smaller and therefore easier to hold with one hand. I also have rather freakishly large hands and the smaller form factor and being able to hold it in one hand is almost the sole reason I'm choosing an iPad over any other tablet.

In the introduction to the iPad mini they talked about the new smaller bezel and how they created a new monitoring system to know when you're holding your ipad and when you're actually tapping it. It will differentiate between the two methods of holding the ipad. I imagine this will be introduced into the new iPad 5 which shares a similar bezel.
