As much as I love my iPad mini I really do think the iPad 5 will serve me better as my eyes are getting worse due to the diabetes :(

I'm so sure it will be the '5' for me next that I sold my mini about three hours ago.....god I hope the predictions are true about the new form factor

Mini two most likely so that's what I voted.

Assuming retina but I think that's a given.

Undecided how important touch id could be in my decision.

I selected playing the waiting game as I am just not sure what the release will be like yet. the one thing some people mention that the iPad given its beautiful screen and sensitivity is a stylus. If Apple gets on that then the iPad is a def buy, until then I am looking more seriously at the Macbook Pro's.

How can you buy a custom sleeve when you don't even know the dimensions of the new model.

I used the picture in this post:
https://www.macrumors.com/2013/09/2...w-exact-dimensions-of-smaller-thinner-ipad-5/

I also found 2 youtube videos of leaked back iPad 5 shells to make sure the measurements were right. Both people in the videos measured the height of about 240 mm and width of about 170 mm. The depth or thickness of the iPad looked to be a tiny bit thicker than the iPad Mini, so 7.5 mm looks about right.

The sleeve I ordered from Etsy isn't going to be extremely form fitting so it's okay if the measurements are off by a few millimeters.

I m sorry to hear about your diabetes. I thought screen size does not matter if the person who have a diabetic or not. :apple:

To be more accurate I have advanced diabetic retinopathy in both eyes :(
I'm booked in on Friday 3rd January 2014 for the final decision on whether they are going to operate on both my eyes using laser surgery

I'm a bit apprehensive to say the least
