iPad iPad 5th Gen Appears dead after update

I have an iPad 5th Gen on the latest version of iPadOS 16 and today when I opened music it went to a black screen and shows no sign of life. What could cause this and how do I fix it? I tried charging it and connecting it to finder and iTunes and it didn't show up.

It doesn't show up when I connect it to a computer.

Try holding the power button

I did that. So far I have held the power button and home button for 20 seconds on an off the charger and plugged into a computer.
