iPad iPad 8th gen now has True Tone?

I updated my iPad to iPadOS 18.3.1 a few days ago and now I notice that it has True Tone even though from what I remember, the 8th gen doesn’t even support it? I noticed it because the display was noticeably warmer so it definitely does work and isn’t some weird UI issue. Just curious if this is something new.

It's a bug in iPadOS 18. While it does shift the colors to a warmer temperature, it won't be the "right" color/temperature since there are no sensors to detect the ambient lighting conditions.
