ipad activation.

hello there, my daughter is in a situation where she has completely forgotten her AppleID & Password. we have left the ipad2 sitting and not being used for the last 2 years. she setup the "Find my ipad" using the icloud acct she setup. because of the nonactivity if the ipad for a long period, she forgot the login credentials. is there any other options to get by this problem?

Contact Apple at https://iforgot.apple.com/password/verify/appleid and reset the iCloud/AppleID account.
