There was an article in the WSJ about iPad owners :
http://blogs.wsj.com/digits/2011/04/19/a-look-at-ipad-users-apple-still-trouncing-android/?mod=e2tw

Age above 65 is 6.2 percent in the article. I am just in the above 65 group and have friends of my age and over with iPads.

I know of 4 people above 80 that have bought iPads for themselves. Not given as gifts, but they heard about the iPad and thought it would be a great replacement for their notebooks or desk computers.

My father ,84, his brother, 86, my 90 year old neighbor and one of my father's friends, 89 all bought iPads.

Anybody here over 80 or know someone over 80 with an iPad ?

I still don't know anyone who has bought an iPad. :)

I know two over 80 people and they both have iPads - gifts.

I know many over 60 (from work) that use the iPad daily...and i, of course, support a +60 boss on one - she very much loves it and is getting better with it technically everyday.
