Two generations behind for this one here (iPad 3, first one with retina display). I don't feel so bad seeing there's lots of people upgrading from the iPad Air models...

I'm upgrading from a 4 to new 9.7" IPP. I liked all the things announced in It's big brother last year but was not really keen on the size (for me at least) so todays announcement was just what I hoped for.

I think I am looking forward to the extra ram more than anything. I hate the constant refresh on my iPad Air.

Upgrading from iPad 4 128GB+iPad Air 16GB. Been waiting a long time for 256GB. So glad I didn't cave in and got the Air 2 last year.

My mom will get my old Air to replace her iPad 3 (on iOS6).

Ho boy that's a nice upgrade. My iPad 3 felt slow the day I bought it. Goodness knows how it is with iOS 9 these days

We have 3x iPad 3s at home. Upgraded one to iOS 7, then 8 and it's awful. Much, much, much slower than iOS 6 even with animations disabled. Haven't gotten around to upgrading it to iOS 9 yet. I've kept the other iPad 3s on iOS 6 because of poor performance on newer firmware.
