If I plug in my iPad after using it for a few hours, it wouldn't charge and my computer would not recognise it. It would only charge after I perform a soft reset (hold Home + Power), with it still plugged in.

Even then, often a message saying 'Accessory Not Supported' would pop up, and the green charging icon on the iPad's status bar would turn white. However, it is still charging and sync-able with iTunes. This is my second Lightning cable (brand new from Apple), so I'm not sure if it's a cable problem.

If I plug it in after shorter periods of usage (say a few minutes), it will charge no problem.

Anyone has any similar experiences?

I've tried both methods.. Same results (sans the syncing and 'Accessory Not Supported' part with the charger).
