My Dad was at Best Buy today walking around and he saw in the Open Box section that there was a Purple iPad Air M3 128GB Wi-Fi for $315 dollars. He asked to look at it and it looks like it was just opened and then never touched as the wrapping was still on the power cord that was not ever unwrapped or the power adapter. He did not see the paper around the iPad itself though but looked it over up and down and did not see one scratch anywhere, but the box had some dings and dents.

He ended up buying it as he thought that maybe it was as typo on the price. Does anyone have any input on the price? Anyone have any input as to if he should get AppleCare for it? lol, he still is not sure what he is going to use it for but said he thought at that price he could not say no. They explained to him he has 14 days to return if he ends up wanting to.

What’s there to know? Sounds like it has the standard Apple warranty and it’s an iPad so no moving parts and getting inside isn’t possible. Do a factory wipe just in case and enjoy the heavy discount.

Great idea, thank you! I had him plug it into his computer and used the restore option that updated the OS as well.

If new meaning warranty starts after activation, then it’s good.

He checked via the settings app and it shows 53 days left to buy AppleCare+ so it looks like it had a actiavtion like a week or so ago.
