I'm looking for a rugged case for my M3 iPad Air 11" that has an adjustable kickstand, but without a pencil holder.

There are hundreds of choices on Amazon, but all of them have !@#%$#@ pencil holder, which increases their size. If you dont have a pencil, and I don't and never will because its useless to me, its just a bloody hole in the case.

Why do case makers make an explicit design choice for an accessory that not a lot of people have? I know a lot of iPad users, not one uses a pencil.

I don’t know if this will work for you but Zagg makes a cover with only a cloth loop for a pencil. This wouldn’t increase the size much if at all 🤷‍♂️

This one? not bad, I hope i can cut off that loop.

Edit: doesn't look like the hinge for that stand is very sturdy, saw some reviews say it breaks easily.

Apparently the one I had in mind isn’t available for the Air. This one has a better stand, but the pencil holder doesn’t seem to be quite what you want:

That one may be ok, the pencil holder is on top rather than having a whole part of the case molded around it, so it can just be hacked off.

To bad the keyboard attachment doesnt have a trackpad. that would be cool.
