Just an FYI, Pre-order is available for all iPad Air 2 models on Bestbuy.com. Says available for Pickup on 10/23. I had a large credit there otherwise I would have ordered from Apple.

Edit: Now 10/24.

FYI, I placed my order on Bestbuy.com since I had some gift cards to use.

If you are looking for the 64GB Gray model (MGKL2LL/A) it's on there, it's just incorrectly described as Silver/White. I called after my order and confirmed on their internal ordering system, it's correctly listed as the Space Gray model.

Pick up launch day 10/23/14 here in Chicago.

PS - Was also able to sell my 64 GB Air 1 on CL for $400 this morning after listing last night. It was an unused warranty replacement from Apple so it was MINT. However, people will soon learn they can get this for $389 refurbished with a full 1 yr warranty.

All of the LTE models are still listed as coming soon. I would assume that they won't carry them at launch. Like they haven't before.

10% Off Mover's Coupon?

Anybody else planning on using the 10% off mover's coupon to buy the new iPad Air 2 on launch day in store? I'm concerned that, according to the fine print, it will be considered a Unilateral Minimum Resale Price (UMRP) product and the 10% won't be applicable. Anyone know if they will honor the 10% discount or not?

Fine print here: http://www.bestbuy.com/site/regular...on/pcmcat322300050002.c?id=pcmcat322300050002

Picked up a 128 gig gold, zero intrest for one year, was going to pay cash for my order with apple but in going to cancel it instead.

Thanks for that. I also Googled for MGKL2LL/A and it confirmed space grey. Pre-ordered for pickup. Cancelled my Apple.com order since apparently Seattle = 27-29 October crowd.

I used a mover's coupon (the in-store and online version), and got $70 off of my 128GB Gold. It seems like all the models are available for in-store pickup except for the 128's...

Just got an email saying the release date was changed from 10/23 to 10/24, pickup 10/24 (my birthday)!

Makes sense as Apple normally launches new products on Friday's.

I'm just curious why some people would choose Best Buy over Apple or any other retailer. Not that I'm opposed to Best Buy. Just curious what attracts you to best buy unless you have gift cards or something.

I get 45 days to return it as an Elite Plus member and I also get 12 months same as cash financing, not that I don't need it, but it's nice to have to pay it off over time anyways.

I have $250 in Gift Cards from trading in my 2 year old iPhone 5 a couple of weeks ago. Otherwise, I'd go straight to Apple.

I was going to order just to add to my rewards, but I didn't see the 128gb space grey LTE version. Did they sell out of those?

Best Buy has the best in store offers for trade ins, but you can only get store credit. I agree with you otherwise though, I usually try to buy from Apple directly.

Hmmmm I just checked and looks like I can get $163 for my ipad 3. That isn't half bad. I was hoping to sell it to someone for $200.

I placed a pre-order for the 128gb space grey wifi model. Since then my order status has stayed on "payment validated" but now says the order status is not available. I selected standard shipping which was estimated to be a Sunday 10/26 delivery. When I call in the automated system says the order status is "awaiting fulfillment". The web site says "coming soon" or else I'd cancel and reorder for pickup. I have gift cards to use which is why I ordered from best buy. Anyone else pre-order the 128gb space grey wifi for shipping?
