iPad iPad Air 2 ~ iPad Mini 3 Gold!

Is it just me or is are the new Gold iPad nicer looking at them in the front than the back? I think they look ugly on the back, I hate all gold. But the front with the gold sides and gold touch id, makes it beautiful.

I had the same exact thought after looking at the hi res images Apple posted as well as various hands-on videos that were posted after the keynote yesterday. I was worried about it as well with my gold iPhone 6 but decided to take a chance on it. Fortunately, the gold color is much less "gold" seeming in person. I'd assume the new iPads in gold will be the same hue of gold as the iPhones are-very mild gold. I'm going to preorder a gold Air 2 here today I think.
