iPad Air 2 Keyboard unresponsive with power

does anyone else experience feedback issues (missed keys etc.) when using the iPad Air 2 whilst it is plugged into power? As soon as I unplug the Lightning cable it goes back to being super fast and responsive!?

I am on iOS 9.0.1.
