iPad Air 2 Mirror to Projector?

Hi,
I was wondering if there was a way to mirror my iPad Air 2 display to a projector for almost real time feedback.

The projector I'm looking at doesn't have wifi so I was wondering if it was possible to use it and to see the iPad display by using the HDMI alone.

I don't want to use it solely for videos and photos but rather to display whatever is running on the iPad screen be it webpages or apps.

You can plug the iPad directly into the projector with a lightning cable to hdmi adapter.

Or you can plug an Apple TV into the projector and AirPlay Mirror the display.
