iPad iPad Air 2 Reviews Today Mean...Tomorrow is...

I preordered my Mini 3 as soon as preorders went live and it shipped today with delivery on the 23rd.
I guess I will stop by the Apple Store at 8am tomorrow then return the other iPad. I am not even getting proper notice and my $80 case was just left on my door step for anyone to take if they wanted to....and more importantly earlier than the state time. So I had to rush home just to put it inside. WTF!

I'm not sure, but don't iPhone reviews come out the night before launch? Or do they come out two days before? I guess Friday is the latest day the Air 2 will launch, but people in Australia are already receiving theirs today.
Reviews come out Tuesday before a Friday launch (as it did with iPhone 6). Best Buy lists release day as Friday.
iPhone reviews dropped on Tuesday and the iPhone's dropped Friday. I expected the iPads to be the same but my iPad is showing delivery for the 23rd. (Thursday)
Right, I'd be surprised if most people receive their orders tomorrow & Thursday and Apple doesn't release it in their stores.. I mean it doesn't make sense to me..
Pre-ordering is not a special talent.. Everyone is paying the same cost.. In fact don't reward anyone, just release it so people can see it in their hands before investing $600..
Or reward everyone, give them a case in the house
Yeah this is the biggest thing for me. I doubt they'd deliver pre-orders if they weren't available in stores first. I'm not sure Apple has ever done that before, and I'm sure they aren't doing it to reward pre-orders... that's just silly.
Actually, they have. A bunch of people (myself included) received their iPhone 4 and iPhone 5 pre-order on the Thursday before launch on Friday.
The iPad Air 2 reviews are saying the new iPads are "boring".

iPads sales have continued to plateaued.
However, they are faster than the previous generation according to benchmarks, but not noticeable in real life/hands on.

A lot of people in the uk have been able to buy iPads in store today, I'm guessing it will be the same for the U.S.?
According to Best Buy website, you can pickup today. It says pre order until you get it into your cart, then if you select "store pickup" it indicates that you can pick it up on "release day 10/22".
