Hi everyone, new here and sorry if I missed it but I haven't heard of anyone else experiencing this issue with their Air 2 so wanted to see if I was the only one. This might even be an iOS 8.1 issue because my old Air running 7.1.2 doesn't do it.

When scrolling, stopping with finger and holding for a sec, do your screens go blank? Here's what is happening:

Thx for reply. Good to know it is not just my Air 2 then. Even aside from this issue, I have experienced a lot of other quirks (links/touch screen not working, apps all screwed up, etc.). I almost wish I could downgrade to iOS 7.1.2 on my Air 2 until things settle down. Air 2 as a machine is killer even compared to Air 1, but the overall user experience is worse IMHO.

Yup, software. No wonder Apple is sending out emails wanting you to upgrade from iOS 7 to 8. Not me. :p

iPad Air 2 - Scroll and stop leads to blank screen

seems to happen with safari (what a surprise!) doesnt happen with opera.

Sick feature bro. I can think of a few websites where this will come in handy.

I honestly can't believe more people are not up in arms about this. Safari would be one of, if not the most used app on the iPad and it has such a big glaring fault like this to it. Mine does it all the time and drives me nuts.

Anyone that sees this may want to upgrade to 8.3 which came out just a few days ago. It took care of a lot of buggy issues.

I don't see this issue myself.
