All iPads iPad Air 2 vs. Kindle Fire HDX 8.9 375 grams!

Will the iPad Air 2 be able to beat the new Kindle Fire HDX 8.9 which weighs only 375 grams.

I know the Kindle has a slightly smaller screen than the iPad Air but I wonder what Apple has up their sleeves.

There were already rumors of a thinner iPad. Wonder how much lighter it will be.

Any thoughts?

Weight has never factored in any of my tablet purchases. I still have an iPad 2/3 and neither bother me as far as weight goes.
