iPad iPad Air 2 wifi available at john lewis

I was in store at the Oxford street branch paying for something and saw a sign that said that it would be available in store on the 22nd at 8am. Perhaps you can buy now and pick up in store tomorrow.
 
Got an email about it. With what a previous user said regarding 22nd, I'd expect the device will be on sale in most stores tomorrow. I just hope mine ships for tomorrow.
 
I wonder when it will be available to look at. Am expecting tomorrow if on sale tomorrow.
 
Shame it's only wifi versions at the moment. Wonder why.

Does the JL 2 year warranty make it preferable to buying at the Apple store?
I guess it's I year Apple warranty then a second one with some 3rd party warranty provider. Anyone had experience of it?

I usually buy my stuff from the Apple store because of their no quibbles support. Recently had my Mac mini repaired FOC outside the 1year, and my current Air was replaced with a new unit at 10 months old when wifi went iffy after the iOS 8 upgrade. No questions asked!

You can still take your 10 month old iPad to the Genius bar for an exchange even if you buy it elsewhere.

Thanks, didn't know that. If JL had got cellular versions on their website
I'm certain I would have ordered one for collection tomorrow.
The Apple store which is only along the Mall from JL will have all versions
at launch on Thursday. Why am I so impatient!
 
Just cancelled my Apple order and will collect from John Lewis store tomorrow, I'm too impatient to wait :cool:
 
Glad I saw this thread earlier (I've been on and off about getting an Air 2, but decided to get one today). Mine has been dispatched & will be with me tomorrow. :)
 
Just returned from picking mine up from John Lewis Newcastle, used click and collect yesterday :cool:
