I have a Macbook right now which I use to synch my Ipad Air and for Itunes. I may be getting an Imac soon and was wondering how I would go about with Itunes and Synching the Air.

Do I just transfer over my music to the Imac and hook my Ipad up and synch or is it more complicated than that?

That sounds about right. The ipad will only sync whatever music the machine it is connected to contains. So if you transfer all your music into the new imac, you will be ok.

Thanks, glad it's so easy.

It is! Problems only arise when you're trying to transfer music on your iOS device into another OSX capable machine. That gets a bit hairy...
